As day turns to night and night welcomes another sunrise, AKITU becomes a place where time fades away, music becomes the heartbeat of the weekend, and every path leads to a new experience.

Rules: We all gotta have them! 

First up, no dogs, glass or fires. We are fortunate to be able to host on private land, which is a working farm throughout the year, which means it is not safe for your pooches and broken glass and fire risks are not safe for the other animals.

CONSENT: if it's not a hell yeah, it's a hell no. Don't do things on one if you wouldn't do it sober. 

No driving around the farm, and please stick within the fence lines.

Gates will be shut between 10pm-9am. The road to the festival is gravel and windy. If you need to arrive or leave between these times please come and have a korero with us so we can sort it with security. Your safety is important.

Don't use soap in the river, it's fresh as mountain water!

We reserve the right to remove anyone who is being a dick- whether that is being a safety threat to others or disrespecting the space in any way, so just look after yourselves and each other.
